PORSCHE 964 SPEEDSTER TURBOLOOK

The Speedster came out in 1955 as a particoular 356 model. It was possible to buy also a Carrera version with more power (the Carrera Speedster).
In 1989, another one Speedster, starting from the type 911, was introduced. There were two versions: the "Slim" and the "Turbolook" with the same auto body of the Turbo (but without the big rear wind) and the same brakes, wheels and tyres. There are some particoluar differences in comparison with the 911 Cabriolet version: side windows and windscreen are smaller (and the windscreen is more inclined).
In addition, there aren't the rear seats because there's a new body elements: two small "humps"  extend the body until the front seats.
In 1992, also the production of the Type 911-964 groew rich with a Speedster version. The mechanical solutions are the same of the previous model. In addition, the car has some technical elements of the Carrera RS 3600: brakes, wheels, tyres, no airbags, sport-seats, simple and light doors. It's possible even to paint the wheels with the same paint of the auto body.
Nevertheless, the 964 Speedster is offered only with the "Slim" body (the mudguards have the same dimensions of the Carrera's ones).
Curiosly, the factory has never introduced a "Turbolook" version. However, as it's shown in the picture, it's possible to assert that almost one of them has been built even if we don't know if it's an "official" car.
As it's possible to notice, side windows and wide screen are very small (so, it's not a Cabriolet with any doubt) and there are the same large mudguards of the Turbos.
