A DELICATE AND SPARKLING ALCHEMY: NOTHING IS ADDED, NOTHING IS REMOVED BUT THE WATCHES IS TRANSFORMED. THE NEW AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK FROSTED GOLD 41 MM IS A LIMITED EDITION OF 200 PIECES.

Audemars Piguet presented the new Royal Oak Frosted Gold Limited Edition 41mm (Ref. 15410BC.GG.1224BC.01) of 200 pieces, boasting the following features: 18-carat white gold case and bracelet with AP folding clasp, glareproofed sapphire crystal caseback, blue toned “Grande Tapisserie” dial and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.

Meticulously crafted, effortlessly worn, the Florentine finish adorning the Royal Oak Frosted Gold is a textured surface decoration on precious metal invented decades ago, predominantly on smaller jewellery pieces. By beating the gold with a diamond tipped tool, it created tiny indentations on the surface that gave a sparkle effect similar to that of precious stones, like diamond dust.

The challenge for Audemars Piguet’s craftsmen was to apply this surface treatment technique across the case and bracelet of the watch without altering the clean lines that define the Royal Oak’s form.

The new 41 mm Royal Oak Frosted Gold, water-resistant to 50 meters, is powered by the automatic calibre 3120 (280 parts, 40 jewels, 28,800 vph, centre seconds, date at 3 o’clock and a power reserve of 60 hours) visible thanks to the glareproofed sapphire caseback.

The blue dial, covered by a glareproofed sapphire crystal, with Grande Tapisserie pattern has white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.

Price: 56.800 euro.
