Koenigsegg Regera: sold out!
NON CE N’È PER NESSUNO. IN TUTTI I SENSI. LA REGERA, MEGACAR INEGUAGLIABILE IN PRESTAZIONI PRODOTTA DA KOENIGSEGG, È SOLD OUT (80 ESEMPLARI). UN TRAGUARDO STORICO SOTTO TANTI ASPETTI PER UN BRAND PICCOLO E GIOVANE CHE NON SMETTE DI STUPIRE E MANIACALMENTE DETTAGLIARE QUELLE CHE SONO PIÙ OPERE D’ARTE SU RUOTE CHE VETTURE.
Non solo è una delle macchine di produzione più veloci al mondo (se non la più veloce nello 0-300-0), ma anche una sold out fast. La Koenigsegg Regera, per cui fu coniato il termine Megacar (ad indicare qualcosa di ancora più estremo di una “semplice” Hypercar) ha fatto registrare il sold out degli 80 slot disponibili di produzione, dopo la sua presentazione ufficiale in quel di Ginevra nel marzo 2016.
La vettura, il cui costo base (quindi senza personalizzazioni) è pari a circa 2 milioni di euro, rappresenta un nuovo concetto per il brand svedese, essendo il primo progetto ibrido equipaggiato con un powertrain composto da propulsore termico, tre motori elettrici ed un battery pack.
Una sfida tecnologica in primis, quindi, assolutamente vinta con questo sold out: 80 infatti (che nella numerazione pitagorica significa “dominanza”, esattamente come il nome della vettura) rappresenta anche la produzione più ampia di un singolo modello fino ad ora prodotta dalla factory di Ängelholm.
Per questa Megacar i numeri “comuni” hanno poco senso, dato che tutto è “esagerato”: lo 0-100 avviene in meno di 3 secondi, ma è il valore di 0-400 che lascia basiti: meno di 20 secondi, grazie al V8 Twin Turbo e tutta la tecnologia che vi è stata inserita.

The important announcement by Koenigsegg comes in a very important period for the small company from cold Sweden: the Regera program is the largest single vehicle series in Koenigsegg’s history and the first time that the Swedish artisan carmaker has offered a two-vehicle lineup (Regera and Agera).
INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE
Koenigsegg’s own prodigious twin-turbo V8 engine produces 1500hp and over 2000Nm of torque. The electric drive system consists of three electric motors, one on the crankshaft and one on each of the two rear axles. They give 670 hp and are powered by a battery pack capable of enormous rates of both discharge and recharge (117C and 60C respectively), all while weighing just 66kg with coolant.
The whole immense power of the Regera is directed to the rear wheels via the unique and revolutionary Koenigsegg Direct Drive system (KDD). It uses a hydraulic coupling with lock-up capability to gradually feed power from the internal combustion engine to build on the electric power used to accelerate from standstill. The end result is seamless acceleration from zero to over 400 km/h – in as little as 20 seconds.
