Mentre i primi esemplari della nuovissima 720S presentata a Ginevra 2017 sono stati consegnati ai fortunati proprietari e vengono immortalati in famose location (Monte Carlo in testa a tutte), la casa madre McLaren non dimentica i clienti già possessori di una Sport Series e chi intende ordinare una “entry level”.
Una (ennesima) nuova vasta gamma di accessori e upgrade è pronta per i modelli 540C, 570S and 570GT: da personalizzazioni puramente estetiche a qualche update volto a migliorare le performance, il tutto garantito come di consueto dal reparto MSO (McLaren Special Operation).
In particolare, per proteggere le vetture, vengono ora offerti teli copri vettura o copri sedili, così come tappetini in pelle personalizzati. Il colore delle cinture è ora selezionabile a discrezione del cliente, per fare contrasto con gli interni o pendant con la carrozzeria.
Esternamente delle nuove piastre di protezione poste sotto lo spoiler anteriore impediscono che questo si graffi toccando terra o superfici rialzate.
Sono stati anche aggiunti alcuni nuovi design per i cerchi, finiti in diverte tonalità: stealth, silver e diamantato, abbinabili a pinze freni da colori ultraleggeri personalizzabili.
Tutti gli elementi esterni in carbonio, prima ordinabili solo sotto forma di pacchetti, sono ora selezionabili individualmente e comprendono: prese d’aria laterali, scocca degli specchietti, minigonne, blades frontali, splitter anteriore, ala e diffusore posteriori, coprimotore.
Propio l’elemento carbonio gioca un nuovo ruolo anche negli interni, dove si potrà optare per un volante interamente prodotto in questo leggerissimo materiale. Anche gli interruttori, come gli speaker, il battitacco delle portiere (anche brandizzato McLaren o personalizzato) e i tunnel laterali sono ora disponibili in carbonio.
Ogni opzione o accessorio è già disponibile presso ogni dealer (o autorizzati) McLaren.

A new range of official options and accessories developed by McLaren will allow owners of 540C, 570S and 570GT to protect them and give them more individual appeal. These new components can be purchased from, and fitted by, McLaren retailers.
They include indoor and outdoor vehicle covers as well as branded floor and luggage bin mats. Also available are front skid plates, which protect the aerodynamically-optimised front diffuser from contact with the ground.
MY OWN SPORTS SERIES
Customers wanting to add a personal touch to their Sports Series can choose from exterior and interior customisation options. Exterior modifications include a wide variety of expertly engineered, forged alloy wheel designs available in stealth, silver and diamond cut finishes, as well as several lightweight and coloured brake calipers. Three carbon fibre packs are also available as separate items, including the following components (in carbon fibre): side intakes, mirror casings, side skirts, aero blades, front splitter, rear bumper, rear wing, rear diffuser, rear deck and plenum cover.
COCKPIT
The cabin of all McLaren Sports Series can be further enhanced with coloured seat belts and a carbon fibre steering wheel, featuring extended gear paddles and a grip area finished in either leather or Alcantara®. Additionally, the following components have been selected: switch packs and IRIS surround, upper speaker surround, sill finisher with McLaren branding, side tunnels.
At the pinnacle of McLaren’s Genuine Accessories range is a portfolio of McLaren Special Operations (MSO) options which have been designed, engineered and developed by the MSO team. They include front splitter, rear wing and rear bumper.
