Omega ha presentato l’Omega Speedmaster 38 mm “Orbis”, una versione speciale dello Speedmaster 38mm a supporto della partnership con l’organizzazione no profit Orbis International.
Questo cronografo, impermeabile fino a 100 metri, è caratterizzato da una cassa in acciaio e da una lunetta con la scala tachimetrica su di un anello di alluminio blu.
Sul quadrante blu spazzolato, protetto da vetro zaffiro antigraffio e antiriflesso ambo i lati e con indici rodiati e lancette rodiate o laccate nel tradizionale blu usato da Orbis, spiccano i piccoli contatori ovali orizzontali in blu chiaro e la finestrella del datario ovale verticale visibile a ore 6. Da notare la lancetta centrale blu dei secondi che riporta come contrappeso l’orsacchiotto Orbis.
Questa referenza è equipaggiata con il calibro automatico Omega Co-Axial 3330 (ruota a colonne, scappamento coassiale su 3 livelli, spirale del bilanciere in silicio Si14, 28.800 a/h, riserva di marcia di 52 ore).
Cronometro certificato COSC, lo Speedmaster 38mm “Orbis” è proposto, con il consueto bracciale in acciaio, a 4.600 euro. Omega donerà inoltre parte dei ricavati dalla vendita a Orbis International.

The Omega Speedmaster 38 mm “Orbis” is a special model created to support the brand’s partnership with Orbis International.
The Omega Speedmaster 38 mm “Orbis” watch features a stainless steel case and bezel with a tachymeter scale on a blue aluminium ring. The sun-brushed blue dial includes horizontal, light-blue oval subdials and a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock. The indexes are rhodium-plated while the hands are also rhodium-plated or varnished Orbis blue.
The chronograph, water resistant up to 100 meters, has a stainless steel bracelet and is driven by the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 3330. This self-winding chronograph has column-wheel mechanism, Co-Axial escapement, free sprung-balance equipped with Si14 silicon balance spring. Officially certified chronometer, this chrono has a power reserve of 52 hours.
The Orbis Teddy Bear design is stamped on the caseback of the Speedmaster 38 mm “Orbis” watch and the blue central seconds hand that includes a special Orbis Teddy Bear counterweight.
