A NEW YACHTING EXPERIENCE. THE NEW PICNIC BOAT DASHER BY HINCKLEY YACHTS IS A 28.5 FOOT FULLY ELECTRIC VESSEL WITH 2 80HP ELECTRIC INBOARD MOTORS AND BMW I3 LITHIUM BATTERIES. IT CAN REACH A TOP SPEED OF 28 MPH.

A silent driving experience with zero emissions is at the heart of the new Dasher, the world’s first fully electric luxury boat. It is a 28.5 foot fully electric vessel with twin 80 hp electric inboard motors and BMW i3 Waterproof lithium batteries (full charge in 4 hours).

With a carbon-epoxy composite hull shape designed by Michael Peters and carbon stringers, it is the lightest boat Hinckley has ever built (6.500 pounds).

A retractable windshield makes it easy to connect with guests even while at the helm while a touch-screen control makes navigating simple.

Dasher’s open layout allows for numerous possible configurations and marks Hinckley’s debut of Artisanal Teak, the company’s trademarked name for a lightweight hand-painted epoxy composite that look likes the traditional varnished teak wood without its weight and maintenance costs.

Dasher maintains a cruising speed of 10mph and reaches a top speed of  maximum 28 mph.

Ready for delivery from next summer 2018, the Dasher electric yacht will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show on next November 2017.
